Preserved Snowflake Storm Cluster, 20mm Real Snowflake Display, Multiple Snow Cr

Own a tiny collection of real preserved snowflakes, gathered by hand during Colorado winter storms and transformed into a one-of-a-kind piece of natural art.
This miniature 20mm storm cluster display contains a beautiful gathering of naturally formed snow crystals, preserved together within glass and resin. Rather than showcasing a single snowflake, these little captures hold numerous individual crystals, overlapping branches, delicate fragments, and intricate formations from a Colorado snowfall.
Capture Dates: January 23–25, 2026
Location: Penrose, Colorado
Capture Size: 20mm
Materials: Glass and resin
Style: Miniature storm cluster
Display: Protective coin display with wooden easel
Every snowflake begins high within the clouds, where changing temperatures and humidity shape its individual crystalline structure. As snow crystals fall, they can collide, cling together, and form clusters, creating beautiful little gatherings of winter weather.
During active Colorado snowstorms, I carefully collect these delicate formations by hand and preserve them while working below freezing. Temperature, humidity, wind, light, and even a single breath can affect the crystals before preservation is complete.
What makes these miniature storm clusters especially fascinating is the extraordinary amount of detail gathered into such a small space. Within just 20 millimeters, numerous individual snow crystals come together, each carrying its own unique structure and story.
Some crystals remain beautifully defined, while others overlap, branch together, or become part of a larger formation. Each capture preserves a little gathering of winter exactly as nature created it.
No two storm clusters are ever alike, making every finished piece completely one of a kind.
