Preserved Snowflake Art, 20mm Real Snowflake Glass Display, One of a Kind Snow C

Own a little piece of a Colorado winter storm, collected by hand and transformed into a one-of-a-kind work of natural art.
This beautiful 20mm preserved snowflake display features a real, naturally formed snow crystal permanently preserved within glass and resin. Its delicate branches and intricate crystalline geometry offer a remarkable glimpse into the tiny wonders hidden within an ordinary snowfall.
Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, this miniature artwork preserves something that would otherwise disappear within moments, allowing a genuine piece of winter to be admired for years to come.

Every snowflake begins high within the clouds, where changing temperatures and humidity shape its intricate crystalline structure. As each crystal grows, it develops delicate branches and geometric patterns influenced by the atmospheric conditions it encounters.
During active Colorado winter storms, I carefully collect snowflakes by hand and preserve them while working below freezing. Temperature, humidity, wind, light, and even a single breath can affect these fragile crystals before preservation is complete.
Collecting snowflakes is always a little race against time. Each one arrives with its own delicate structure, formed through a journey in the clouds that can never be repeated in quite the same way.
What I especially love about these smaller 20mm displays is how much beauty can exist in something so tiny.
At first glance, a snowflake may seem like a simple little piece of winter. But when you look closely, an extraordinary world of symmetry, branching patterns, and natural geometry begins to reveal itself.
Every preserved snowflake is a tiny record of the atmospheric conditions that shaped it, a fleeting moment of weather transformed into something lasting.
No two snowflakes are ever exactly alike, making every finished piece completely one of a kind. The exact artwork shown in the listing photographs is the one you will receive.
