This unique pendant brings together a real preserved snowflake, exotic wood, and clear quartz crystal. Each piece is individually made, allowing the natural grain and character of the wood to become part of the design alongside the delicate geometry of a naturally formed snow crystal.

Every snowflake begins naturally within the clouds, shaped by the changing temperature and humidity it encounters as it grows. By the time it reaches the ground, it carries a tiny record of its journey through the atmosphere.
During an active Colorado snowfall, I collect each snowflake by hand and preserve it while working below freezing. Temperature, humidity, wind, light, and time can all change a crystal before preservation is complete, making every successful capture completely individual.
The preserved snowflake is then incorporated into the pendant alongside clear quartz and natural wood, bringing together three very different pieces of the natural world: a crystal from the clouds, a crystal from the earth, and the organic grain of wood.
No two snowflakes are ever exactly alike, and no two pieces of wood carry exactly the same grain. Each finished pendant is therefore completely one of a kind.
